How can I use my PayPal balance to pay?

Follow

Your PayPal balance can be used for payment if you create a PayPal Billing Agreement with us. Your PayPal Balance is typically used as your default payment source - you will need to confirm this in your PayPal account settings.

A backup funding source is required, however, in case your PayPal balance is ever insufficient for a transaction. In such cases, your backup funding source will be charged for the remaining amount. For more information, we recommend contacting PayPal's Customer Support in your country.

According to PayPal, two things are necessary to create a PayPal Billing Agreement:

  1. A verified PayPal account
  2. A confirmed bank account linked to that PayPal account

When creating a PayPal Billing Agreement you may be asked to enter credit card details if the above conditions have not been met in your PayPal account. In order to check if your PayPal account meets these requirements (and if it does not, what you will need to do), Reach and PayPal recommend contacting PayPal directly. They can look into your account to check if it meets the criteria.

In other words: You can usually use your PayPal balance to pay for your order as long as you have a verified PayPal account with a confirmed bank account connected to it.
